Each year, Overland Park Lodge awards scholarships to students at area High Schools. In 2017, Overland Park Masons awarded 12 scholarships totaling $14,500.

Overland Park Lodge treated all of this year's recipients and their families to a banquet followed by a presentation ceremony. They were then treated to a few stories from some of our members about why they joined Freemasonry and what it has meant to them over their many years as brothers in our fraternity.

Dakota Kemp (Gardner, KS), Jackson Doherty (Olathe, KS), Brandon Furman (Olathe, KS), Carson Sader (Olathe, KS), Sara Wilkinson (Overland Park, KS), Ruth Wilkinson (Overland Park, KS), Cody Sader (Olathe, KS), Kevin Wiesner (Olathe, KS), Katy Hagen (Leawood, KS), Stockton Grunewald (Olathe, KS), Austin Fitzgerald (Olathe, KS), and 2x winner - Jordan Winter (Lenexa, KS).
