For the first time, our lodge entered a float in the Festival Parade. And our first Blood Drive was a smashing success. The brothers of OP Lodge were joined by the young ladies from Job's Daughters Kansas Bethel #27 (Shawnee, KS), the young men from Delaware Chapter of DeMolay (KC, KS) and the Abdallah Shriners Clown unit. We cannot express sufficient thanks to the staff of the Red Cross who worked diligently and tirelessly throughout the day to make sure everyone had the best experience possible - Rose, Pam, Victoria, and Nathan!

Our 1st Blood Drive had a goal of collecting 25 units. Each unit can help up to 3 people. We had:

• 38 Pre-reservations

• 44 People Signed in to donate

• 32 Made it onto the Blood Mobile - including 16 First-Time donors

• 28 Units were collected!

 

We were asked by many when we were going to do another one! It was a VERY good day!
